Horta Van Hoye stands alone on an empty stage lit by a single lamp. Unfurling a length of newsprint, she uses rubber bands and clothespins to pinch, tweak and crumple it. Suddenly, she is no longer alone! The stage is transformed and rolls of recycled paper become three-dimensional characters which quickly assume vibrant lives of their own.
